Standing Together | Including Everyone

Welcome Huskies!

Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas, Our Lady Queen of Peace and the UConn Catholic Community!
Fr. Greg Galvin serves as Pastor and Campus Minister and is assisted by Fr. Jacob Ramos.

"We have come to believe in God’s love: In these words the Christian can express the fundamental decision of his life.
Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person,
which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction." - Pope Benedict XVI

St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel

During the academic year, Mass is offered and confessions are heard daily in the Chapel. Scroll down for the liturgical schedule. Every Thursday night there is a Eucharistic Holy Hour for Vocations from 7:00-8:00PM, followed by Mass. There is daily Eucharistic Adoration from 2pm-7pm, Monday-Friday at St. Mary Church in Coventry. There are many opportunites for you to enter more fully into the sacramental life of the Church during your time here which we pray you will take advantage of.

The Chapel is open all day every day for personal prayer.

The Catholic Center is open from 7:30AM-11PM Monday-Friday and 24hrs during exams.

Weekly campus ministry events are hosted here throughout the academic year: Pasta Supper on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00PM and Pancakes on Thursdays from 6:00-7:00PM, followed by the Holy Hour in the Chapel. We also host Movie Nights, Sporting Activites, Community Breakfast, Men serve Women events, and Retreats throughout the year. These events are free and all are welcome!

If you're intrested in getting involved in formation opportunites such as bible studies, please reach out to the FOCUS Missionaries.

Fellowship of Catholic University Students

FOCUS is a collegiate outreach whose mission is to share the hope and joy of the gospel with college students. Trained in Church teaching, prayer, sacred scripture, evengelization and discipleship, FOCUS Missionaries encounter students in friendship where they are, inviting them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and accompanying them as they pursue lives of virtue and excellence. Through Bible studies, outreach events, mission trips and one-on-one discipleship, missionaries inspire and build up students in the faith, sending them out to spread the good news and to live out the Great Comission: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations (Mt 28:19).
